Cheryl D. Evans

Cheryl Evans started her career in the legal field in 1971, soon becoming a litigation paralegal who also had a penchant for technology. In 1992, she founded Evans Training & Consulting (ETC) in order to bring litigation support to firms and corporations before “litigation support” became a bona fide phrase. Since forming ETC, Cheryl has advised and trained hundreds of legal professionals on how best to use current software in order to tackle their cases, always making sure to incorporate real-life scenarios in her work.

A significant part of ETC’s business is providing trial preparation and courtroom presentation support to legal teams across the country. ETC’s clients range from small and large law firms to corporate law departments to government agencies. Clients often comment that Cheryl’s extensive paralegal and technical background, coupled with her sense of how to present to jurors (a by-product of nearly 20 years of training and speaking to audiences), make her assistance a powerful adjunct to the legal team’s skills in the courtroom.
